In this interview, we discuss the evolution of gaming in Reno, Nevada, how Circus Circus Reno is involved in the local community, its connection with Las Vegas, and what types of sales and marketing strategies they are pursuing to address changes in the gaming industry.

Jennifer Cunningham was awarded the 2006 Marketer of the Year Award from the Reno-Tahoe Chapter of the American Marketing Association, and in 2005 she was named Woman of the Year by the Nevada Woman’s Fund.

Prior to joining Circus Circus Reno as the Director of Sales & Marketing, Jennifer worked as the Director for Tour & Travel Sales for the Silver Legacy Resort & Casino and then the Peppermill Hotel & Casino; furthermore, she was the Director of Marketing for the Reno-Sparks Convention & Visitors Authority. Jennifer has an MBA and Masters in International Marketing from San Francisco State University.
